What is CLEP?
CLEP — the College-Level Examination Program — is a set of exams administered by College Board that let you earn college credit for knowledge you already have. Instead of sitting through a semester-long course, you take a single exam: pass it, and many colleges award you the same credit toward your degree.
It is one of the fastest, most affordable ways to move through college. A single CLEP exam can replace a full introductory course — saving weeks of class time and, often, hundreds of dollars in tuition and fees.
CLEP works for all kinds of learners: high school students getting a head start, adult and returning students, homeschoolers, military service members, and anyone who has built up knowledge through work, self-study, or life experience.

Who Qualifies
- First-generation college students
- Students from low-income households
- Students at under-resourced high schools
- Anyone who cannot afford paid tutoring
We may ask for proof of financial need — such as a W-2 or tax return (US) or equivalent documentation — before assigning a tutor.
